We thought we'd take a moment to give everyone an update about the Skanee Fiber Project.

The contractor has wrapped up construction for the season.  Unfortunately, they weren't able to get a fiber drop installed to everyone who currently has service in Skanee this year.  They will be back first thing in the spring to finish the project.  If you live in the Skanee area and do not currently have service, but would like to, please let us know so that we can add you to the contractor's list.  Splicing crews (that connect all of the fiber cables along the road and the drops) will be arriving shortly and start the process of connecting all of the fiber installed this fall.

Starting in late February and March we will be contacting customers with a fiber drop to schedule your install and convert you to fiber.  Installs typically take 2-3 hours, and someone does need to be home during the install.  For more information and photos of a typical fiber install, please check here.
