The 2023 construction season has been a busy one and we have a LOT of projects going on.

Chassell  / Tapiola 

Our contractor (White Construction) is currently installing fiber optic cable in the areas north of Tapiola and West of Chassell.  This will be a multi-year project with the main-line cable installed this year, splicing and testing this winter, and drops to customer's premises to follow next spring summer.  Here is a brief list of the areas that will be receiving fiber Internet as part of this project.

• Worham Rd
• Upper Worham Rd
• Boundry Rd
• Elsie Rd

Keweenaw Bay

Our contractor (White Construction) is currently in the process of installing fiber optic drops to all current customers in the Keweenaw Bay area and we hope to start scheduling installation appointments with customers in the next few weeks.  We will have a lot of customers to convert from copper and dsl to fiber so we expect this process to extend through the winter.  If you live in the Keweenaw Bay area and are not currently a customer you can sign up for service by contacting our offices.

Pelkie

Our crews continue to work on the Pelkie area and are currently focusing on the Bellaire Rd area.

Zeba

Ford Rd is almost ready for turn-up with Haataja Rd to follow.  We hope to start scheduling installation appointments with the next month.

Aura

Our construction crews are currently installing fiber optic cable in the Aura area.  This will also be a multi-year project with main-line installation this year and next and drops to customer's premises to follow.
